blatant copy!
Coldplay is a good band. Oh well, its the music business

In my opinion, they haven't did plagiarism, I think this is always happening when a band get the stardom [ someone appears from ¿? where ¿? and then gets too much money thanks to this ] I suppose they knew what they was doing and what they was making with respect to their lyrics & their new work ' viva la vida' .. that's all. Coldplay was/ is & will be a very great english band forever.

Yup! lol!!!
Absolutely! Totally agree, they are a cracking band. Just that this isn't the first time that someone has shouted them out for plaigiarism and when its someone of the standing of Joe Satriani (who, in my opinion, is a god!) comes out and is the one who is suing, then you kinda have to listen up!
Normally, I would totally agree, but Joe Satriani is a very, very well respected and famous guitar player who has taught some other very famous guitar players, as well as being a total genius in his own right. He has also sold many millions of records himself, so he isn't just "anybody" really. And I don't think he is the kind of person who would accuse someone unless he had either proof or enough belief to think that his tune really was stolen. The song IS very similar, I have to say and it could well be co-incidence after all, but when someone like Joe speaks up, you tend to listen......

Si si...Ok. but Coldplay won't make a track if they would have knew that it was done by another singer, It's illogical..!! above all because that would have been a terrible consequence for them, so, both can get similar sound but not the same sound, therefore it doesn't exist plagiarism

: )

in anycase they have resolved this issue through lawyers! awwwwwwwww Coldplay love uuu ;D

yeah, maybe that's Joes problem..he thinks he is a god! ;-)
Coldplay respond by saying Joe didn't write Viva La Vida, erm duuuuuhhhhhhh.

It may be coincidence but Joe has never in my knowledge sued anyone before so its not like he is doing it for the money, besides he sells out every show he plays and he has been touring constantly for 20 years.

Candy - actually it is yet to be resolved by lawyers.
